Scylla and Charybdis

Today I will: 
-Practice narrative writing skills by responding to a prompt and writing for 7 minutes.
-Compare and contrast Homer’s version of the S & C encounter to visual representations, including analyzing  3 political cartoons for meaning
-Identify Diction, Details and Imagery in Homer’s Scylla and Charybdis that indicates the speaker’s perspective.
-Construct my own version of Odysseus’ encounter with S & C by writing a narrative from either S or C perspective as a blog post on my blog.

Today's Agenda:
1. Read & annotate "Siren's Song" 
2. Read "Scylla & Charybdis" & complete this classwork
3. Write a blog post as either Scylla or Charybdis (use two vocab words from list 10-16)
