• Identify and discuss why authors include specific diction into their novels.
• Identify diction and detail in a passage from TKAM and draw conclusions about what the evidence reveals about the town of Maycomb.

(The screencast is 9 minutes long, but plan on 20-30 minutes to watch, pause and take notes).  - due Friday, 8/19
